• April 8, 2010: I was inducted into the Texas Tech University Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Academy.
• March 18, 2010: The QuickField and HV Applications webinar is now broken down into 6 segments and posted on YouTube.
• February 3, 2010: I gave a webinar this morning on QuickField and HV Applications. If you missed out but are still interested in the material, an archived movie version can be found can be found at their website, QuickField Webinar web page.
• January 27, 2010: I will be conducting a webinar next Wednesday, February 3, in conjunction with Tera Analysis on their QuickField FEA software and how it can be used to analyze electric fields for applications including pulsed power and high voltage. • November 20, 2009: Please note that the upcoming IEEE Power Modulator and High Voltage Conference is now accepting submitted abstracts for the technical program. The deadline for submittal is January 15, 2010.
• November 20, 2009: Currently working on materials for an upcoming webinar in December on "High Voltage Equipment Design and Simulation With QuickField".

• January 31, 2009: An additional link added to the Links page for the Center of Excellence for Electrical Safety, a DOE web site dedicated to electrical safety, particularly that associated with R&D applications and situations not addressed in the National Electric Code (NEC). Includes a copy of the DOE Electrical Safety Handbook.
• January 31, 2009: Pulse Forming Network (PFN) web page updated to include calculator to determine section capacitance and inductance of a Rayleigh Pulse Forming Network based on the desired PFN impedance, pulsewidth, and number of sections.
• January 24, 2009: Toroid web page updated to include calculator to determine inductance of a toroid (both square and round cross section) based on the radii or diameter and number of turns.
• January 17, 2009: Attenuator web page updated to include calculator to determine internal resistance values for a T-pad attenuator based on termination impedance and the attenuation factor (also calculates the attenuation in dB).
