The conference hotel is the Hilton San Diego Bayfront, a flagship Hilton property on the West coast.
This 30-story tower is San Diego's newest (completed in 2008) waterfront hotel and is located immediately adjacent to the San Diego Convention Center and just 10 minutes (3 miles) from the San Diego International Airport (SAN). It's also within walking distance, via a pedestrian bridge, of the San Diego Padre's PETCO Park stadium and the vibrant Gaslamp Quarter of the downtown area which boasts more than 16 square blocks and more than 150 restaurants, shops, and nightclubs. The hotel also hosts the technical program of the conference in the 4th floor Sapphire ballroom, immediately adjacent to elevator banks used to transport attendees to their rooms on the upper floors and providing the ultimate in convenience.

A block of rooms have been set aside for conference attendees at a special conference rate of $174.00 for single or double occupancy. Conference rates extend from Sunday, May 27, 2012 through Tuesday, June 12, 2012 so attendees are invited to come earlier or stay later in order to further enjoy San Diego and all its attractions. All hotel rooms feature expansive glass windows with views of the San Diego Bay/City Skyline, Coronado, or Coronado Bridge/Port of San Diego. They also include a large work desk as well as High Speed Internet Access (both wired and wireless), the Hilton Serenity Collection® Bed, large 37" plasma TVs with HDTV, and a spacious bathroom including Crabtree & Evelyn® bath products.
Complementary high speed wireless internet access in the guest rooms has been arranged for all attendees by the conference staff. In addition, 10% discounts have also been negotiated for lunch menus in the hotel restaurants and parking is also being provided at reduced rates (self-parking at $15/overnight and event parking at $11/day for off-site attendees). On premises restaurants include Odysea, Vela, Bay Breeze, Fox Sports Grill, and Starbucks.

The Hilton has a large covered parking structure immediately adjacent to the hotel. Conference attendees arriving by plane may also use a taxi (estimated fare $14-18), Super Shuttle ($8), or limo in addition to a rental car from the Airport to the hotel.
Alternate Hotel Accommodations
While we believe that conference attendees will optimize their experience by staying at the conference hotel, we also recognize that alternate accommodations may be more desirable in some cases
